Welcome to the new chapter of my life.
As most of you know I am a hardcore reader, and big promoter of books. Reading is fun. I've always been that way and likely always will be. I'm also quite the social type, I like being around and meeting new people.
So, I decided to combine two of my favorite things and start my own business. I have been crazy busy the last few months gathering inventory, refurbishing the storefront, designing my logo, and just in general, putting together my new place of business.

I officially opened for business on July 21,2009. I will be hosting a big grand opening day, with sale prices and freebies on August 1st! It's not a big place, but it's quite nice (if I do say so myself), and small town friendly. I have a pretty decent selection already, and there's still plenty more to come.
I also offer Hot tea & coffee, iced tea & soda, and muffins & cookies to nibble while you browse. The store features some adorable country crafts for purchase made my local crafters, such as birdhouses and garden benches.
Coming soon there will be Avon catalogs available. I also plan to have some of my photography on display (available to purchase if you see something you really like). I am making plans to offer book accessories soon , such as bookmarks, bookbags, and bookcovers too.
I am not currently buying more books, but I do offer trade ins for store credit. So if you have some old books you are ready to pass on, pop on over.
Well that about sums up what's new with me. Hope to see some of you there and then you can fill me in on what's new with you! Will you come browse and visit? I'll be hoping to see a lot of famaliar faces. :)
